In early July 2006 Graham Smith, Rae Gardiner and Derek Hawes finally lifted the Lord Rendlesham cup in this years competition after playing in four matches over eight hours at Holbrook village fete and beating a team from the host side 21-15 in the final.
None of the trio had ever won this prestigious cup before.
