This bowling alley also has a public bar and fast food restaurant incorporated.
Built on the site of a former airfield hanger -- the "blister" hanger was formerly used to house prototype aircraft during trials in the 1930s -- the aircraft types then tested included both the Hurricane and Spitfire. See the Martlesham Heath Control Tower Museum for more details.
