Run by the same landlady for more than 10 years, this imposing white brick and flint faced inn is situated on the B1111 crossroads on the outskirts of the village. The large single bar layout has a welcoming atmosphere with a good log fire in winter. Free of tie, this is the closest outlet for Old Chimneys brewery (which is located on the other side of the village).
An interesting range of beers complements a varied menu of home-made meals (no food Mondays).
