Distinctive two roomed pub which was extensively refurbished a couple of years ago. Live music at weekends. Pool table and large screen TV showing sport.
Real Ales from Adnams and GK are reported to have returned here at the beginning of 2009, however they seem to only be available occasionally. Disabled toilet.
One of three pubs of this name to have existed in the town, the others having stood in Northgate St and Tavern St.
