Popular two bar pub with a small patio and car-park to rear of site. Just a short walk from the town centre and close to the town museum and Christchurch park. The landlord has been in every edition of the Good Beer guide since he took over and is justifiably proud of its reputation. High quality, freshly prepared food is available. The cosy but basic front bar is quieter than the large, comfortable long side lounge bar. There is an outside drinking area for the summer. Do not miss if you are visiting the town.
