all we know about this pub is a report in an 18th century newspaper:

Auction of two Freehold Messuages or Tenements, with convenient Offices, and a garden adjoining. Formerly a public-house, known by the sign of the Three Crowns, but late in the occupation of Mrs. Taylor deceased, and her under-tenant, Mr. John Sidney, situate in the street of Woolpit, and very convenient for tradesmen. Enquire of Mr. Ambrose Taylor in Woolpit.Ipswich Journal, 30 Mar 1776***
