An ex-Lacons Inn which is on the outskirts of town opposite Beccles Cemetery (a 15 minute walk from town centre). Up to five guest ales mainly from East Anglian breweries such as Barrell & Sellers, St Peter's and Woodfordes and a cider. Live Jazz 1st Sunday of each month + other live music, regular monthly quiz nights, open mic nights and charity events. Customers are welcome to eat their own food on the premises. The original lounge and public bars are now open plan with the bar and real fire in the original part of the building and pool tables in the extended area.
