Traditional wooden beamed hostelry that occupies a very prominent possition on main street. The single main bar is decorated with numerous prints and paintings. It has no machines but does offer piped music and traditional pub games. It is also family friendly and welcomes children. Regular live music on Saturday evenings.

The building dates from the 16th century, but has been much altered since.
