Overview

address: Lower St

grid reference: TM 152 345

listed building grade: II

Tudor Cottage appears in the Listed Buildings Register as "formerly known as White Horse Inn Cottages". Whether this means it was the White Horse or merely near the White Horse is not known. The only other possible candidate in the area is the beautifully pargetted Ancient House, which can be seen in Stutton's picture gallery.

If you can tell us more, please get in touch.

This building is believed to date from the 16th/17th century, possibly earlier.

All information is presented here in good faith and believed to be correct at the time of writing.
The addresses of old pubs (numbers and sometimes even street names) may not always coincide with the building's current address (if it's still standing), as street names sometimes change, as do numbering schemes
