Great Blakenham Bellhistorical era: late 20th century
255 Stowmarket Rd
The building is mainly early 19th century, but with parts dating back to the late 16th or early 17th.
It's believed to have been called Bluebell Farm circa 1830 (it appears on the 1837 OS map as "Blue Bell")
The closure date is not certain, but definitely post-1997, as it was listed in at year's Camra Suffolk Real Ale Guide (though only selling keg).
The pub can be seen here on an old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. larger map
