This highly popular and characterful pub is located quite close to the beach in this historical town which has mostly been lost to the North sea. The single bar has a strong nautical theme throughout whilst the rest of the building contains various seating areas for food including the conservatory. An outside seating area and enclosed garden located to rear. All food is traditional, locally sourced and includes fresh fish and a Sunday roast but can be very popular at weekends. Ten letting rooms are also now available for hire (including six lodges formed from conversion of outside stabling). Darts and board games still played on quieter evenings. Daily bus service + local "coastlink" taxi/bus service.

All information is presented here in good faith and believed to be correct at the time of writing.
The addresses of old pubs (numbers and sometimes even street names) may not always co-incide with the building's current address (if it's still standing), as street names sometimes change, as do numbering schemes
