Not easy to find but certainly worth the effort, this historic gem is worth seeking out. Welcoming fires and comfortable sofas in the beamed bar, together with good conversation make this pub a pleasure to visit. There is a garden for summer drinking. Bar snacks and more substantial meals are also available. Up to four beers are on tap mainly sourced from independent breweries. A beer festival is planned for the summer, live music and quiz nights also feature along with other events.
