Bones, Robert brewery

A report in the Ipswich Journal on Sat 03 Jan 1789 states :

To be sold by auction by Thomas Foreman on Thu 15 Jan at 2 o' clock in the afternoon at the White Horse inn in Newmarket the following:
LOT I: A very handsome freehold estate, the property of Mr Robert Bones, with brick front and pleasantly situated in Newmarket consisting 2 parlours, 5 chambers, 4 garrets, 2 cellars and wine vaults, 2 kitchens, a store room and pantries: adjoining to above is a very convenient computing house, a large brew house with store houses that will hold upwards of 1000 hogsheads of beer, a new brick and tiled malting etc.
NOTE: Same sale also included several pubs including Newmarket White Horse, Waggon & Horses, Wheatsheaf, Croydon, Anchor, Exning White Horse & Ashley Plough
