William Lines and John Fisher bought the Studd, Halliday & Acton Brewery in Ipswich*** which was sold for auction 20th June 1828.
A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 13 Apr in 1833 states that :
Sale of the remaining Brewery Plant of Messrs Lines & Fisher at St Stephens Brewery, Ipswich
A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 28 Sep in 1833 states that :
Investment Opportunity under a Flat (?) of Bankruptcy against Wm Lines & John Fisher. The extensive Brewery & Mercantile premises lately belonging to Studd, Halliday & Acton..with a frontage opposite St Peters church of 180 feet, together with 240 feet of frontage on the river.
