A brewpub set-up and run by Andrew Scott at the Crown Hotel which brewed between 1988 and 1999, initially trading as "Scottie's". During their existence one tied house, the Blues and Bloater was established for a couple of years.

Some beers, such as Hopleaf, transferred to Buffy's brewery when Scott's closed.
