White Hart

In 1839 Pigots Directory John Moye is listed as a brewer.

In the 1874 White's Directory John Moye is listed as a brewer.

In the 1892 Kelly's Directory John Moye is listed as a brewer.

John Moye's brewery was located beside the White Hart(also see photos)

In 1896 the brewery was acquired by Colchester Brewing Co together with 6 public houses. The brewhouse was subsequently demolished in 1916.
