Old Beardy Tankards by Stuart Blaber Old Beardy Tankards set up in early January 2009 over a pint of real ale. Realising that there were lots of great beers but nothing much great to drink them from, plans were put in motion to create some truly unique drinking vessels. After some trial and error designs were tried and discarded, the tankards finally started to take shape. From traditional tankards to modern coloured designs,, from handles from the Roman times to elegant twisted patterns, Old Beardy Tankards provide great gear for great beer. Tankards are made by glass blower Neil Bridges with Stuart Blaber assisting, Stuart being the CAMRA member, both are from and currently live in Harwich. So far sales have been good, and the pair look good to make back their original investment and then some. Not resting on their laurels, any profits made shall be reinvested straight back into the business: We have Ed Org, who did the original Wychwood Hobgoblin designs, creating some artwork of the Old Beardy himself. This should be great fun when it's made.
Tankards can be custom designed and inscribed.
